Halloween is both ancient and modern. It celebrates the change in season, the harvest, and how that transition is so symbolic. It is a celebration of things that we as humans cannot fully control or understand such as forces of nature or death, and how that lack of control or knowledge can be frightening to us whether it be “magic”, the woods, the dark, or the veil of the hereafter.
Tampa Bay Haunted Houses does not support or condone acts of human-on-human violence, devil worship or the idolization of actual evil. Though these themes have invaded the pop culture of Halloween, they are not what the holiday is about.
